Summary/Abstract: The globalization is a concept of event which influences the economic, political, social, and cultural aspects of the societies, has been used frequently during the last quarter of the 20th Century. Even so, encounter and introduction of societies with globalization is not a new phenomenon. One version of globalization was started approximately 500 years ago by the Colonization efforts of Western European Countries. The latest phase of globalization Iras been completed and a new definition has been brought after the information technology revolution of 1980s and the collapse of the Soviet Union during the 1990s. The cities have been functioning many tasks during these phases.The effects of globalization increased the degree of interdependence among the cities as well as states. Some cities are encouraged to make contacts with other cities outside of the national borders.
