Summary/Abstract: One of the most important classic devotional guidebooks, Thomas à Kempis’ “The Imitation of Christ,” presents to the reader an approach to Sacred Scripture and itself makes use of it. This article aims to deepen one’s study of the theoretical and practical approach to the Bible in this work, analyzing five selected fragments in this respect.
