Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to evaluate the attitudes and thoughts of the society on the Olympic Games by determining the thoughts of individualsfrom various social structures and the level oftheir believing in the possibility of Turkey hosting the. In total 367 subjects participated being 213 men and 154 women. The data has been evaluated by chi-square test used to compare the basic statistical method, frequency distributions and the measurements of two independent groups on a dependent variable. 'The level of relevance was taken as 0.05. According to the findings of the study, participants' views of the Olympic Games were positive in general. However, it was observed that; the participants were indifferent to the activities of Turkish National Olympic Committee and their general knowledge about the Olympic Games was insufficient.
