Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to analyze the differences in economic development of Polish voivodships in the years 1995–2005. The following variables – showing the situation on the goods and labor markets – have been introduced to the set of factors determining regional differentiation of Polish regions: machinery-output ratio, total factor productivity, and investment rates (shares of investment outlays in GDP). It follows from the analysis that, among others, in the period 1995–2005 there was weak economic regional convergence in Poland, with an exception being Mazowieckie Voivodship that is developing much faster than the rest of the country.
