The process of integration in EU - perspectives of economic growth for Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: Bulgaria’s integration in EU is a strategic national economic policy. In this article I indicate the reasons and factors for the country’s integration in the EU. I point out the problems, connected with the implementation of the economic criteria for the integration. I examine some of the risks that the Euro-integration keeps for us. The thesis I support is that the Euro-integration is a modern economic policy that can stimulate in a long-term period the economic growth in Bulgaria and that it can become a basis for lifting the life standard of the population.
