Summary/Abstract: The paper is a part of wider context of individual personal style of Slovak preachers’ research. Our ambition is to contribute to a definition and characterisation of the preachers’ communicative register. We analyse the individual style of a monk brother Filip within the frame of this study via specific communication media – video blog. Brother Filip puts sacral aspects into originally profane media genre. Our analysis of significant deictic, lexical and syntactic means in these video blogs has reavealed that his personal preacher’s style is profiled as lyrical-philosophical and contemplative.
