Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we analyse the possible manners in which to approach the writings of Jakov Ignjatović when working with students abroad. The focus is on the novel Eternal Groom and the work Memoirs. Additionally, we try to shed light on the significance of connecting curricular and extra-curricular activities when working with the Serbian language and literature students abroad. The aim of the paper is to contribute to the studying of the Serbian language and literature at universities abroad.
