Summary/Abstract: Political prisoners serving their sentence in the 1950s remembered the guards they met in various prison facilities in Czechoslovakia. Their testimony was always given much later, in some cases in 1968 but mostly after November 1989. The list prepared by Pravomil Raichl is authentic in this respect. He wrote it in February 1952 when he was on the run from Leopoldov prison, and this valuable document tells its own story.
