Summary/Abstract: Belarusian literature in the 20th century often developed on the territory of other countries. A particularly striking example of such development is represented by creativity of Belarusian writers of Poland, united in the literature association “Belavezha” in 1958. The article highlights the links between the literature of the Belarusian-Polish borderland and the literary process in the BSSR and the Republic of Belarus, highly appreciated spiritual and pragmatic activity of “Belavezha” writers, national style features in their work, aspiration in artistic autobiographies to reconstruct the life of the Belarusian people in the era of state border changes in Europe, and patriotic pathos.
