Summary/Abstract: Following the specialised literature on the analysis of mutual funds markets in Europe, in the region and in Romania, we will go further to the practical part of this paper, and the second chapter will be an intermediate one in which a transfer will be attempted from the theoretical to the case study. Thus, we will attempt to highlight the manner in which the mutual funds market in Romania evolved from different perspectives while aiming to determine a certain level of development as compared to what happens in other countries in the region and in Europe.
