Summary/Abstract: The article depicts the pragmatic characteristics of the text and itsrole both as a communication tool and object of study of strategies and mechanisms for communication in Bulgarian language education. The implementation of thepragmatic approach in the classes of Bulgarian language is realized through the implementation of different tasks with specific communicative goals, which reflect the characteristics of the communication situation: subject of the communication, specifi cities of the speech acts, participants etc.
