Summary/Abstract: The issues concern educational failures of students with coupled intellectual disabilities who during their education changed the type of school. The situation refers to the requalification of students from both integrated and special needs schools, and their places of current functioning are the rehabilitation, educational and childcare centres run by the circles of the Polish Association for Persons with Mental Disability. The presented determinants of the changes of the subject of education are discussed in the context of both school and family situation.
