Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the role of a bank loan in financing the current and investment activity of enterprises, the ratio of entrepreneurs to bank loans, the scale of their use in the current and investment activities of the company, the identified re-strictions on their obtaining and motives of borrowing. The discussed issues will be based on a literature review of the topic. The aim of the article is to present the significant role that the SME sector plays in every market economy
