Ethics and time

Summary/Abstract: The article aims at exposing the relation of time and ethics as crucialboth for ethical theories and human moral life. Our path of argumentationgoes through examining the root Greek concepts of time, namely chronos,kairos and aion. Even if there is deep interdependence as well as great tensionbetween the above mentioned concepts of time (especially concerning chronosand kairos), it is kairos which can estabilish – as a right moment to act– the dimension of ethical duty.
