Summary/Abstract: The standard method of explaining human behavior is to findand show its cause, according to the stimulus -> reaction scheme, based onthe universal theory of causality. However various kinds of human actionare not induced by any particular stimulus, but the lack of any, i.e. situationnamed boredom. Boredom may be a motive of different, but especially radicaland risky forms of human behavior. Known since ancient time among smallblasé social groups, nowadays has become common and significant in mostrich societies. Bored people tend to do anything to break and change thisunpleasant state, which creates danger for other people and the whole society,its stability and predictability. This is the reason why one should recognizeboredom and counteract against it.
