Summary/Abstract: The writing offers a survey about the conditions of the birth of professional ethics, as well as about the ethical problems raised by the new professional fields of the 20th century. The expert in ethics calls attention to the fact that the legal settlement of the infringement of human dignity does not solve problems, therefore the existence of professional associations, chambers and the definition of professional standards are necessary. The author considers that the organizational rules of conduct need to be re-negotiated in the light of new experiences.
