Summary/Abstract: Radical democracy is not a political system. The author agrees with J.J. Rousseau that “true democracy never existed and will not exist”. She also agrees with J. Rancière that it is not guaranteed by any institution, codex or law. Radical democracy begins and ends in every single man. Its foundation power is the human being, the individual’s self-agency and its ability to transform the individual’s own distracted powers into a dynamic projection of personal presence in the world. Human presence manifests itself only by self-agentive acts.
