Summary/Abstract: To present synthetically the main principles of a political system reform in Poland on the basis of an analysis of the draft constitution drawn up by Law and Justice, known under the working name of “Draft 2010,” and the part of the party’s political programme concerning the necessity of amending the constitution of 1997. To refer to the initiative of the President of the Republic of Poland concerning a constitutional referendum and the arguments advanced by the opponents of any amendments to the constitution.
