Summary/Abstract: The article provides a brief overview of the socio-educational functions of Facebook by examining some ethno-psychological aspects associated with the stereotypes and hate speech in Bulgaria. The focus is on discriminatory practices in Facebook and its consumption and the use of social media by public institutions, in education, business and civic organizations. The article used examples from the Bulgarian practice and scientific articles and materials.
