Summary/Abstract: In the previous philological research, the collecting work in the area of Krajina relating to Simo Stojanović (1861–1926) and his daughter Georgina (1891–1956) was not given greater significance. In Bosanska vila and Dobrobosanski istočnik, the two of them will print a total of twentyseven tales, which they heard among the people from the area of Prijedor. Although a priest by vocation, who acquired his education in the seminary, Simo's written expression is primarily under Vuk's influence, which also applies to his daughter Georgina, a teacher by education. Because of all of the above, the paper describes and analyses the characteristics of language in the tales recorded by these two dedicated folklore collectors in Prijedor and its surroundings.
