Summary/Abstract: Rhetorically entitled “Does the Black Sea region exist?”, this article not only gives a clear affirmative answer, but also tries to identify solutions to this yet troubled area. As many values are shared by all the countries in the region (which are either NATO members, or engaged in some form of cooperation of NATO), the author concludes the Black Sea area deserves special attention and it should be on the agenda of NATO, EU and US.
