Summary/Abstract: The post-conflict military actions are part of the international community’s crisis and conflict management strategy. The Romanian contribution to the efforts of combating the new global threats to the international peace and security marks a substantial involvement in the fight against terrorism and other non-conventional threats, an active participation in the post-conflict peace-building operations, stabilization and democratic reconstruction of different areas. The case of Afghanistan, from this perspective, denotes not only the complexity of the post-conflict military actions from this area, but also their extremely ambitious objectives.
