Summary/Abstract: The article concerns the impossibility of justifying an almighty and absolutely perfect God tolerating evil in a world He created. The primary difficulty of all theodicy arguments is that they lead to moral relativism - obvious evil is considered good for the sole reason of being perpetrated, ordered, or allowed by God. In this case, there are only two possible solutions to the problem of evil in the world: either God does not exist, or - if He does exist and did cre-ate the world - He is doing evil for which He should voluntarily atone.
