Summary/Abstract: Justification activity is considered as a prerequisite (propaedeutics) of proving. The purpose of the research is to show the essence of justification as propaedeutics of proving, to present some of its peculiarities and to highlight the degrees of justification in the learning process of problem solving methods. Appropriate distant propaedeutics of the concept of definition and activity of justification in the early grades. Wherever possible the explanations of some concepts to get closer to the structure of the formally logical definition, as well as the students to learn to persuade and obtain results from other results on the basis of reasoning, i.e. to justify. Presentation of solutions and the degree of justification depend on the specifics of the child’s intellectual development for the relevant age.
