Summary/Abstract: An opinion is proposed for the development of the Didactics of Mathematics. What are described are the levels of development, main problems and the reasons for the difficulties to solve them. An idea is brought out that the skill of problem solving is a basic problem in the Didactics of Mathematics that overleaps its borders.
