Rhetorical Argumentative Tehniques Compared to Corresponding Tehniques of Logic

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the main techniques of rhetorical argumentation as they are formulated by the parents of neo-rhetoric, Chaïm Perelman and Lucie Olbrechts- Tyteca in their work Traité de l’argumentation. These techniques are then subjected to a process of likening or differentiation with corresponding techniques from logic. Finally, we try to establish the relationship between rhetoric and logic, especially starting from these differences.
