Summary/Abstract: When the first defendant acting only as an agent of the second defendant, signs the contract on employment of the seaman, he is not liable for the obligations arising from such contract. The fact that the first defendant is a founder of the Shipowning Company doesn't mean that he is liable for the obligations of the company.
