Summary/Abstract: The article examines the academic self-government, underlying in the base of the model of the higher schools government in Bulgaria. Based on the comparative-legalanalysis with former legislative solutions the authors make conclusions and summaries.The challenges and tendencies in the contemporary period of the higher education development and the interrelations with the academic self government are marked.
