Conclusions. It is important that parents ‘and teachers’ relations in a climate of cooperation-oriented partnership should fill the emerging family and school space. To a large extent, teachers are responsible for the quality of cooperation with parents. This type of relationship excludes the perception of them as someone worse in the hierarchy, and requires some degree of partner-like treatment. The success and quality of contacts depends on the open, honest and coherent attitude of teachers with parents. Showing kindness and understanding to the problems and life situation of the child and his family determines the success of mutual interactions.
