Summary/Abstract: Massive open online courses are the current trend which allows participants to attend free lectures at prestigious universities. They represent a form of informal education and in within their plans and programs offer group collaboration, text, audio and video lessons and knowledge evaluation. What characterizes MOOC is that participants must be educated in informatics, can be accessed from any location, from any computer. For MOOC can be said to represent a form of informal training in the area that the student wants to acquire new knowledge and skills.
