Summary/Abstract: The 2018 jubilee year allows a retrospective view of the festivities organized at Alba Iulia one hundred years ago. Starting from personal documents, the event is evoked as it was lived by a family of Transylvanian peasants, participants to this triple celebration: the end of the war, the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, that allowed for the unification of the Romanian provinces, and the creation of Unified Romania.
