Summary/Abstract: The objective of the study is to analyze the diversity and transformations in workforce structure in the European Union member countries, in the period 2004-2009 in economic sectors distinguished by R&D activity intensity. The conducted research focused on structural-geographical analyses and applied the cluster analysis methods.
