Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we propose to present the stakes of the methodological part of our thesis, related in particular to the constitution of an oral corpus of semi-structured interviews conducted with foreign medical students of the Ovidius University of Constanta in mobility and / or temporary migration and with foreign doctors practicing in Romania, in order to identify their representations of languages. First of all, we will present briefly two key concepts of our doctoral research, the representations and the linguistic imaginary. Secondly, we will motivate the choice of our research theme and we will present our hypothesis. Finally, we will expose the methodological approach, the field of research, the elements aiming to provide details concerning the identification and selection of the subjects interviewed, the mixed methods for producing the data, the interview situation, the interview grid containing the questions, the progress and the transcription of the interviews and few cross-cutting themes.
