Summary/Abstract: Driving a car is not just about driving a vehicle in the strict sense of mechanical maneuvers. This implies a concrete intelligence, an easy judgment, a prompt and useful decision, a constantly sustained attention and a psychological balance. In an ever-changing era, with an increasingly obvious need for speed and time saving, vehicles have become increasingly fast moving, have undergone changes over time in terms of motoring, component materials, safety systems, changes outlining the current context of road accidents. With all these safety measures taken by the carmakers, the number of road accidents has not fallen, which points to the importance of the human factor in generating these events.
