Summary/Abstract: The following article tries to analyse the evolution and achievements of the Peace Process in the Middle East. It includes, also, an extended historical perspective on the various aspects pertaining on Arab-Israeli relations in close relations with the main events which occurred in the Middle East during the last almost seven decades. The study indicates that the chances for a future, enduring peace solution are quite good. Nevertheless, the Arab-Israeli Peace Process is one of the many challenges of the New Middle East. Therefore, a future solution should be implemented in an appropriate way by ensuring the required level of integration within the current security landscape.
