Summary/Abstract: The hereby paper aims to highlight the importance of aesthetically valuable literary textsfor learning a foreign language in general and for learning German as a foreign language inparticular. From the point of view of cultural policy, the German literature from Romania plays animportant role when referring to the study of German language. Taking into account the newstrategies and modern techniques for literary texts, the paper also wants to offer some didacticmodels for the texts of the German authors from Romania.
