Summary/Abstract: The legality of judgments adopted by courts, the effectiveness of law enforcement functionsand the enforcement of criminal repression in respect of offenders are the priority issues that justicereform in the Republic of Moldova must address. The existence of an independent and impartialjudiciary is an inherent attribution of a state without which a democratic society can not be built. And,the protection of legality in the field of justice is indispensably conditioned by ensuring theachievement of the purposes of the judicial process.
