Summary/Abstract: In according with the modern and multidimensional perspective offered, since 2010, by National Defence Strategy of Romania, to the defence concept: „all the necessary actions, means and specific methods used to protect the interest, values and national security objectives from the risks and threats to which they can be subdued”- the success of the defence and the ensuring of security could be, equally, insured through the connection of the military way with political, economic and social means. In this article, we will analyse the main national and community financing sources, which can provide a consistent financial support for all these means.
