Between separation and better life – experience of relatives’ absence due to migration in the narrations of old people

Summary/Abstract: The article is a report from studies on the specificity of seniors’ experienceof the absence of relatives as a result of their migration. 9 narratives of older people,obtained by means of individual in-depth interviews, have been analysed. The articlepresents fragments of research results, important threads to illustrate the specifics ofthe separation experience in the studied group of seniors.
