Summary/Abstract: The article explores the academic disciplines of Public and Applied History and presents university programs and courses in Public and Applied History. The focus is on the Applied History program of the Belfer Center of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and its Manifesto announced in 2016. It is compared with the book History Manifesto written by Jo Guldi and David Armitage in 2014.
