The theme of hard fates in Serghei Sivolobov’s works

Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author, referring to the stories and novels of S. Sivolobov, investigates the development and resolution of social conflicts, looks for causes of troubled teenagers appearance and people that take the wrong way, whose fates the author describes in his stories and novels. The author proves the main conflict of Serghei Sivolobov’s works is social artistic conflict caused by indifference, rigidity of society and native people. Takinginto consideration the social conflict that is described in S. Sivolobov’s novels and stories (collections “The smellof April wind”, “The shadow of crooked tree”), the author of the article shows the conditionality of artistic conflicts caused by social formation changing of ‘80–‘90 years of XX century. In his works, Serghei Sivolobov describes the problems inherent of that time: ethical norms and community issues, the problem of total loneliness of children’ssoul in the adults’ world, discloses the sources of tragedy of people that take the wrong way, reveals the causes of crimes. In such a way, the conflicts that received the formof artistic conflict in the works of S. Sivolobov, play the role of mouth piece of the artist’s intention, they are notonly the reflection of the author’s vision of social conflicts in the society, but also the reason for society to pay seriousattention to problems that appears at the of the intersection epoch.
