Summary/Abstract: Owners of boats registered for sport and recreation, which are registered in the boat record book, are obliged to take out insurance against liability for losses that may be caused to third parties as a result of personal injuries, health impairment or death. Persons carried by boats are not deemed to be third parties within the meaning of the Insurance Act.
