Summary/Abstract: This article aims to discover new trends in newborn firms, considering the performance and productivity of employees. Noteworthy that recent research highlights a balance between service and production, and based on these findings, the article will describe and examine in detail the trends and particulates of newborn firms in accordance with employee performance and productivity. Research highlights how a newly-formed company can help increase employees performance and productivity using an empirical approach to showcase contemporary trends in this area of study. The results of the analysis will highlight the fact that motivation is the main driver that leads to an increase in employee performance and productivity in new firms, and that they are attracted by innovation oriented companies with an open vision to change.
