Summary/Abstract: This paper tries to observe the role of the Christian teaching in the understanding of the problems that the persons with disabilities have to deal with and in granting them help to integrate within society. Christianism allowed people in suffering to be seen as image of Christ as its teaching mentioned, this being a new perspective and a new humanitarian stage in perceiving a person with a disability. Saint Apostle Paul mentioned regarding sufferance and handicap that everything is in God’s power, His power “is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12, 9).
