Summary/Abstract: The study presents the restoration process of one valuable liturgical art pieces from “Saint Paraschiva” Orthodox Church, Răşinari. Representation of “Coronation of Virgin”, very common theme in churches from south part of Transylvania, the icon was attributed to an important artist from late eighteenth century and early of the next one, Gheorghe, son of Iacov painter from Răşinari.
