Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to verify the effectiveness of prediction of selected 10 models of discriminant analysis on the example of a sample of 15 enterprises operating in special economic zones in Poland. At the end of the work, I have made a summary and have drawn conclusions that presented discriminatory models properly reflected financial standing of researched companies and the evaluation of the companies financial situation should be made by many methods because the indication of one model can lead to wrong decisions.
