Summary/Abstract: In the framework of the 21st century, the trends of modern armies are mainly aimed towards a specialization in the field of gathered operations, but also particularly towards a full cooperation within multinational operations. The features of gathered operations highlight the need for cohesion between the forces involved, which stems for the existence of a unitary concept, a unitary plan and a unique command. It is truly fundamental to have a cooperation and a high morale, for purposes of safety and protection of forces. As a matter of fact, alliances originate from the need to defend collectively, a fact which, once again, highlights the need to conjure an assembly of forces for purposes of increased efficiency in some actions, so that certain joint objectives may be reached.
