Summary/Abstract: Old age is the last stage of human life. The aging process depends on biological and environmental conditions. The closest family for an elderly person is an important reference of emotional and social life. Nowadays, the intergenerational bonds in families are diminishing. Older people assess relationships and emotional ties with the family community more critically than the surveyed parents. Seniors expect from the progeny family: support, kindness, love, dialogue.
