Summary/Abstract: Social-economic and cultural transformations in Poland are connected with the changes in the attitude towards marriage and family. There are new, previously unknown behaviour patterns within the family; its structure has been transformed, as have the range and shape of roles fulfilled by its members. The abandoning of the traditional model of the family has been widely observed. Different alternative forms of married and family life have been more and more common. The transforming model of married family into the extramarital forms causes changes in perceiving the family, and especially of the marriage as an inseparable relation for the whole life. The aim of article is to present and analyse the pedagogy students’ opinion concerning the alternative forms married and family life. Moreover, it presents the reflections of pedagogy students concerning the perception of the modern family, and images about their own family
