Procedures in Case of Crimes Against the Act on Mass Event Safety

Summary/Abstract: All the undertaken efforts to achieve a high level of security during the Euro 2012 championships aimed at eliminating hooligan offenses at mass events. This type of crime does not only concern the law enforcement agencies but also the public opinion. The problem has been widely discussed in many publications in professional magazines and daily newspapers. Therefore, the authors try to analyze the penal procedures in the event of crimes committed on mass events and try to answer the question whether the solutions proposed by the legislature meet the requirements of practice.
